It is a quality film. I think the duel between the French and the Germans was best. ;D

And Hagar, I swear the Italian flew that biplane in the film when he was looking for a new plane. ???

Did Ozzy, Fozzer, Hagar, Rifleman, Fly2e, and Silent Exploder (Doctor Shoe) actually play in the movie
Yes, it was a grueling movie set to work on.
Ozzy would show up every morning hung over and smelling of grapes,
Fozzer would bring his loud bike to the set every morning causing everybody to spill their coffee,
Hagar was always correcting the director on his use of vocabulary and punctuation!
Rifleman never had his camera to catch any candid shots of all of us and Silent Exploder was seen "exploding" at a few of the hired help!
It was amazing that we all survived the shooting of this film!

Hi Woody. He might well have "flown" it in the film.  I'm pretty sure this is one of those that Jim mentioned that only flew suspended from a crane. Not all the replicas were airworthy.

Don't worry, I love those types of films, although I've never seen A old British Aviation comedy before. Should be interesting! 8)

That's OK then. ;)

Plenty more old Brit comedy but none about aviation springs to mind. You might like "The Great Race" which is a tad more Hollywood if you know what I mean. Similar to "Magnificent Men" but about a car race.

The "Pink Panther" films with Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau are classics if you like that sort of thing. I think the earlier ones before they had "Pink Panther" in the title are best. One of the first is entitled "A Shot in the Dark".

Dave I resemble that remark ;D
And Doug "Shot In The Dark" was the second Pink Panther movie, the first being the one when David Niven plays the Notorious Litton Sir David Phantom ;D
