I wouldn't worry too much. I have several spiders like that in my home which I regard as pets. They help keep the nastier bug population down. I'm not sure on the exact figure but beileve there are well over 100 different types of spider native to the UK. These are all quite harmless to humans - although some might be capable of giving a nasty bite. :o  ;D

I found one of them in my garage luckly I had a sledge hammer to hand now I have a hole in floor now:(

If it wasn't for spiders then we would be knee deep in flies. So be thankful...spiders are our friends.

Useless fact:  It is believed that we swallow 2-3 spiders a year in our sleep.  Think on it LOL

I'm an arachnaphobe  :(. I wish I wasn't but I can't control it. The little ones scare me the most! (very odd eh?) I have a dent in my wall from hitting one with a hammer.
