You simply cannot have that much firepower, and destruction going on, and not hit the wrong things or people
I believe you can if you do not use that firepower. No matter what I feel about each side I have to say that it is all about politics and politics is not a clean job. If oil was not present in Iraq, US would no be there. If US was not the most powerfull country in the world, someone else would be and do the same thing. My conclusion is that no civilians want the war (although some may think they do). Most governments (if not all) have no problem starting a war. It should be a problem for any civilian. Everyone in this forum is a civilian, everyone out there in real world is a civilian, we talk to each other, we are friends, we live our lives and make dreams for the future... and then suddenly they command us to fight each other, kill each other, stop making dreams and destroy other people's dreams... and this is something I cannot accept. I have served my country's army (fortunately in time of peace) and I have seen this way of thinking. The covilian becomes a soldier and "a soldier is expendable". This is a phrase I have been told many times.
I have my own believes about internattional politics as everyone but I don't hate anyone and I don't want to use a weapon against anyone (sim is another thing though...). IN any case whenever I hear such phrases as the one above I only want to answer them "Let me live my way and dream. You cannot give this to me so at least do not take it from me".
I don't think anyone would disagree on this.
