Ah global warming. A giant conspiracy. Global warming is not us, it's normal planetary tempreture fluctuation. Another thing not to worry about. If there is a such thing as global warming, how come last winter was one of the coldest on record?

Let me correct something. It's not the next 40 years. It's the next few thousand years. I just found a website made by BBC.

Here is the link. I asked for a week because I figured that the information would be hard to get via internet. However, I found it just now.

I'm not too bothered really. In 50 years time I will be over 110 years old. I doubt very much I will make it. I'm just happy to be here. 8) ;D :P

;D Well Im with Hagar on this, I'll only be about
10 years behind you Hagar, heh, and I'll probably just be happy if I can still go to the bathroom by myself ;D
And well,......things in this life change very slowly if they ever change at all. As the saying goes;" The more things change, the more they stay the same."
And I think its said best in my favorite bands(The Eagles) newest hit single, "Hole in the World"

"They say that there's a land over yonder,.........cool water runs through the burnin sand.

But untill we learn to love one another,..........we will never reach the promsed land."

Yeah, im just happy to be here, and well,...........each day has enough trouble of it's own for me to worry much about tomorrow much less 50yrs from now. ;)

But there is one prediction that is sure to happen. This prediction is so real, that even the most hardened skeptics will believe this. And guess who made this prediction. OUR MOST BRIGHTEST GEOGRAPHICAL SCIENTISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!

However, I do not wish to tell you people this prediction because I feel it might cause some panic among some people in the simviation forums. Especially those who live in any state that is directly next to the Eastern coast of the U.S. [such as Florida, Virginia, Georgia, and so on]. And I live in Florida. :-[

I think we can take it Katahu. I've not met anyone likely to panic around here. ;)

If you're talkiing about the "Giant Sunami" tidal waves forget it. This is the biggest load of twaddle I've ever seen - & I've seen plenty of twaddle. It's based on a flawed theory - like most of this stuff.

lol. best one i have heard is the giant rock thats due to fall into the sea in a few years. most european coasts and american east coast could be in trouble with that one as a huge tidal wave would be created.
However, how much truth there is to this is debateable

That's the one I'm talking about Craig. To test the validity of this theory drop a grain of sand in your local swimming pool. Complete twaddle.

Well. If you're worried about it you could go & live on top if a mountain. The tidal wave won't get you but you're just as likely to be struck by lightning or hit by a passing jumbo jet. ;)

PS. If some big disaster is going to happen I prefer not to know about it. There's ain't much I or anyone else can do about it. I prefer to go out in blissful ignorance. ::)

UUhhhhh [Beavis & Butthead impression] ............. what the h377 is a twaddle? I just don't know your d@wu british terminology. LOL Pardon me for being a little ignorant. LOL

Look in the bright side. This mega tsunami thing ain't gonna happen for the next few THOUSAND years.

I know another big threat that is a thousand times more worse than this.

However, this time, I'm not gonna tell you guys. Ever. Because this new threat is NOT going to do anything for the next 300,000 years. By the time it happens, we will already be inhabiting Mars, Europa, and we'll probably be living in a colonial ship floating near Alpha Centuri [closest star to the Earth].

Hi Katahu. Twaddle = Rubbish, nonsense, trash, garbage & various other words too rude for young ears. :P ;D

PS. Here's some advice. Don't believe everything you read or see on TV. Get outside more & enjoy the wonders of our little planet. Life's too short to take all this stuff seriously or worry about what might just possibly happen in 1,000 years time if the conditions are right. ;)

This is what I believe [don't take this too personally].

Those who say that these kinds of things are rubbish are possibly the ones who like to be ignorant and don't wish to have any of these things go about in their mind for the rest of their lives.

I am the kind of person who likes to think in a radical way. I like new ideas. I admire Leonardo de Vinci's work because he is a radical thinker and artist. I admire Nostredame because he is also a radical thinker and very smart [as in clever].

I like predictions because it makes me think a lot. I like new ideas because new ideas is what shape the face of the world forever. Ideas such as the first computer, the first successful powered flight, Charles Lindburgh, the space race [in the cold war], and so on.

Everyone has their own way of thinking. You think your way, I think my way. ;D ;)

I predict that during the next 50 years I will still be thinking of all the things that happened, things that would happen, and things that will happen.

As for you skeptics, you can stick around on your side of the line all you want. But remember this, the cosmos is a dangerous and uncontrolable place. Anything can happen. And the last time I checked, the Earth is part of the cosmos. ;)
