Hello all... ;D...!
I wonder what I am going to have for dinner today...?

*********************************************
Cannibal jailed for eating neighbour's corpse

An Indonesian cannibal has been jailed for five years after he dug up the corpse of his 80-year-old neighbour and ate parts of her.

Sumanto, 30, was judged to be sane by the court in the central Javanese town of Purbalingga, 250 miles south-east of the capital Jakarta.

Police found parts of the corpse buried under his house, while other parts of the woman's body, which had only been in the ground for one day, were arranged on a dinner plate.

Sumanto, who uses one name, told officers at the time he believed eating the flesh would give him supernatural powers. His lawyers are to appeal.

Of course what people generally don't realise is that the cooking of the perfect fried egg is an arcane art.  Obviously each person has a different view on what exactly constitutes the perfect fried egg but it is not easy to acheive.  I for example cannot stomach any fried egg that I have not personally cooked.  It goes back to an event in a cafe when I had one that was not cooked properly and the white was still runny in places.  URRRRRGH!!!

Just thought I'd share that.  The men in white coats will be here soon.........

Hi Will...!
Excellent to use as a fixative, as in glue, (or as in s**it to a blanket)... ;)...!
Our early calligraphers used it to fix their text to the parchment...!
...although I personally use "UHU" stick tubes now... ;D...!
..or "Polycell" for sticking the wallpaper to the wall... ;D...!

..but a nice, carefully, home fried egg is a joy... :P...!

Cheers... ;D...!

An old English custom...
Fish on a Friday....!

Well not to be out-done, I did the Fish on Friday and Saturday too. I was soooooo hungry after seeing your pic though on Friday and  Wendy wasn't fast enough with the camera, so I had to force myself to do it again on Saturday just to ensure I got a pic for you........This is fresh from the Pacific waters- Halibut !.....A good friend GIVES it to me - Gratis.......not a bad deal !
I hope this makes your mouth water like you did to me  ;D  ;D

So here, I'll "see" your Fish and Chips, and although I can't "raise" you on it, I will "call"........ 8)

Hi Ken... ;D..!
That's the idea. We'll show 'em yet what a nice tasty meal is.... :P....
By the way...
I hope you haven't forgotten the quaint old English custom of eating with the fork in the LEFT hand, and using the knife in the RIGHT hand for cutting up the food....
...and NEVER swapping over and shovelling food down your neck with the fork in the RIGHT hand...like the...errr...errrr*....do.... :'(...!
LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers mate... ;D...!
Paul.
(England)..Fork=left hand. Knife=right hand**..... ;)...!

*too frightened to mention it... ::)...!
LOL...!
**unless you are left-handed...then just reverse the process...!

Paul,... I have never forgotten my European upbringing and use my Continental "knife and fork" in our usual manner...........hold the large piece of food with the fork in the left hand and cut off the small piece using the knife in the right hand, then change the fork to the small piece.......... ;D  ;)

My placement of the flatware was done quickly with thoughts of grabbing the camera, and not my total table manners.......... 8)

Appologies to the Chef...... :-[

It was soooooo good too.........MmmmmMmmmmm !  :P ;D
