Welcome to Scotland, where the rain falls between horizontal and up. I think we've just had our summer a whole to weeks of resonable weather.

1. Goring-on-Sea smells of sea weed, no arguments.  It just does.

2. You don't need a passport to come to Norfolk.  A lobotomy might prove useful though.....

4. There is no number three.

5.  I know you sharp west country folk.  I've been on holiday in Exmoor.  Pub lunches from only

Maccers, me and Woodlouse are the lucky ones, we live on the lovely, warm, Western side of the country....more Tee Hee's... ;D...!
LOL...!

Ah yes. The beautiful cornish weather. Horizontal rain for 11 months of the year. Its always windy and never warm enough to expose your legs. And thats just the south coast! On the north coast theres the prevailing winds comming accross the atlantic so its quite nippy.

See in the south west were a hardy folk. Snow don't bother us much except we never get it.

You see Fozzer, not all of us have a bloody great wind break (aka that big range of mountains) to keep the wind chill out. No. We have to suffer on draughty moors.

LOL... The weathers not that bad really. Lets just hope it stays good.

Good morning Woody.... ;D....!
Tee-Hee... :)...!
I see you gave got our Geography/Geology sorted... ;)...!
We have the Black Mountains and the Radnorshire Hills on our Westerly side.
So having prevailing westerly winds, the rain bearing clouds are forced upwards, over the hills and precipitation occurs on all the unlucky folks who live just on the lee-side of the hills...arf...arf...!
The rest of the county is in a flat basin, so it stops nice and warm and cosy, with the occasional shower and puff of wind.....joy...!
(Did you know that Lydney, in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, on the banks of the Bristol Channel, enjoys the highest annual temperature in the British Isles...and it's only just down the road from me)... 8)...!

One of the fascination things about Flight Sim programs is that they teach you a lot about the weather.
I even go into my local Library now, and borrow books explaining weather conditions so that I dont go out in bad weather and crash my little Cessna...sad, or what... ::)...!
Still, it's all very interesting, and expands my knowledge of all things which have absolutely no interest to anyone else..... ;D....LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers all...
Paul.

The point of useless knowledge is that it is no use.  (Lye Tin Wheedle 473Bc)

If reading the books allows you to look sagely at the sky and predict the weather you will soon gain a respectful group of followers, look at Michael Fish.

You got the Angles, we got the Saxons with their Frankfurters, "Saurcrout?" and Holsten Pilsner....
...fortunately for them, at the time, they weren't wearing leather shorts, long socks and a funny hat with a feather in it... :o....!
(..and slapping their thighs..)...!
We would never have allowed them into the country else.... >:(....!
