a Nebraskan aliased as "cannonball" after his gas unit blew him through the wall and onto his lawn...

I was a radar specialist in the USAF; I've an electric skillet but much of my cooking is via my radar-in-a-box (microwave oven), although I need to replace its burned-out grilling element. With the Nebraskan incident etched in my memory, this is what this New Hampshirite (there's no such thing as a New Hampshi[w]rong) is consigned to in my old age...
I rather like to cook my own food.... but I don't like gas...

I like cooking by gas, 'cos its easy to regulate...(simmering).

With an Electric Cooker its either on or off...nuffin' in between!

Got to be careful with Gas tho'.... ;) ...!

Depends upon the *current* method: the cheapie on/off feature to keep the heating in the general area; the more effective way would be to employ a variable voltage/current flow (similar to the Frostex® plumbing application).
