Wow... good looking plates, everyone!

Personally, I'd add a few hash browns and two shakes of Tabasco on those eggs... perfect!

I am intrigued by this "Gravy"...>>>

Image

...and the recipe?

It looks very much like our English "Pepper Sauce" Gravy...>>>

http://www.colmans.co.uk/products/peppe ... lsrc=aw.ds

Contents:
"Vegetable Fat, Wheat Flour, Potato Starch, Lactose (from Milk), Salt, Green Pepper (3%), Flavourings (contain celery), Dried Onion, Milk Proteins, Colour (Burnt Sugar Caramel), Barley Malt Extract, Maltodextrin, Ground White Pepper, Dried Beetroot, Vegetable Oil, Garlic, Yeast Extract, Dextrose. CONTAINS TRACES OF EGG. No artificial colours, No artificial preservatives, No added MSG"

I often add whole green peppercorns to my home-made "peppercorn" gravy. (Whole green peppercorns are soft, can be easily eaten).

I make my biscuit gravy with ground chuck and mushrooms, and top it off with crumbled up bacon.

The simpler the better, I say. Use an opened up English banger and a tin of Cambell's mushroom soup without any milk, or add a little milk if you want it thinner.

So.... Log...

That "milky gravy" I see in the original photo, is nothing more than Campells Mushroom Soup (with extra chopped mushrooms, etc)... ...!

...and for my Dins today, Steak and Kidney pastry pie with lots of goodies...and OXO + Bisto, etc, gravy....>>>

You've seen it many times before, I hear you say...But it is a meal that cannot possibly go wrong in the preparation and cooking, and is so tasty that I can enjoy it many times without ever getting tired of it!.... :D ...!

...now what can I have for Tea?.... ;) ....!

Fried Egg, 2 large rashers of smoked bacon, sliced mushrooms, tomatoes, and fried bread.

Bread and butter.

Nice cup of Tetley Tea!

Have been following this tread with eyes wide open.

No wonder the colonies left the empire. How can they eat such unappetizing things? The breakfast looks great but faggots?, kidney pie? Yuk.

I'll stick to my in an out burgers.

Ooo Bob, you've lots to learn! I bet you're one of the Kippers and custard for breakfast brigade. My delight (during my RAF days) was stewed kidneys on fried bread to start the day. How's that after a skinful?
