Growing up in War-time Britain, we always had Breakfast before walking to school. Dinner was at noon, hence Dinner Ladies who looked after the kids while Teacher was having Dinner. Then Te when we got home from school, which might be 5pm if it was a long walk. Supper was reserved for Parents who snacked on Cream crackers and cheese when us kids were in bed at 7pm. Same thing in the RAF. Breakfast, dinner and tea. I think it was my 1st tour in Kenya that Tea became Supper at 7 and luinch was relegated to a sandwich. Nowadays, the meal is called by different names depending on what's on the menu. The proverbial Tea time has become just that, any time we're having a cup of tea which may be accompanied by a ginger biscuit (Dunked of course)

I'm aware of it -- but, although age discrimination is against the law, it's difficult to prove and is still practiced; two years of unemployment insurance, extended, and then only part-time. Also, with 15 plus years working nights, I'm having a very difficult time seeing in bright daylight; have to wear sunglasses.
