My favorite place to go out for breakfast (umm, my favorite meal of the day) was a place called "Shady Maple"
in East Earl Pa. lancaster county Pa. If any of you are ever in the southeast pennsylvania area, you really should
treat yourself to a Shady Maple breakfast. Or dinner. It don't matter. It's all good!

P.S. How do you guys make that (URL) address say other things. Like for instance just (( Directions to Shady Maple )) ??

Heck, OldAirMail may have already ate there. Did ya have the pleasure yet Rich?

Here's Shady Maples website, looks like a good place for pancakes, Dwayne. Here is thier web page http://www.shady-maple.com/

Someone sent me a simple pancake recipe today.. I don't know if I would waste a banana like this.
"Smash a ripe banana and beat with two eggs, and cook. Hmmm?

For me,nothing beats 4 12" Buttermilk Pancakes with Vermont Maple Syrup, (and on a separate plate)... Elk sausage patties, three eggs over easy, hash browns and a side of Pork Green Chili.

That is a stick to the ribs breakfast; one that will keep you fueled up all day.

Pancakes and waffles are somewhat like bread and cake.

Two things made differently with similar products.

At least to me.

My wife loves the waffles that I make, but won't bother with pancakes.

On the other hand she likes crepes, and I would rather have anything but crepes.

Two things made differently with similar products.

Does anyone remember "Scrapple" otherwise known as "pon haus" by the pennsylvania dutch. I don't know why I said
that last part, I guess I wanted to sound like I'm smart or something. :shifty: .. 8-) .. :shifty:

When I was a wee lad we used to eat that ALL the time. With apple butter. I loved the heck out of that CRAP.
That is till my brother told me what was in it. And made me look real close at it. I was about 8 years old and that was
the last time I ever touched it. YUCK!
