Added a new poll for the landing. I said yes. Only you would think it was toilet paper Fozzer. In regards to that updated landing time, it is much more accurate to NASA's record. ;D 8-)

Edit: Hey just topped 700 posts a minute ago. 8-)

Okay for today's first landing opporitunity to Kennedy Space Center, Florida, we will have a de-orbit burn at 10:10 am EDT for a landing at 11:15 am. This will occur on orbit 217.
Orbit 218 provides a 12:50 landing time. Both landings will be to runway 15. Weather looks good. There are scattered clouds moving in from the south. These will have no rain with them. There is calm wind. Steve Lindsey is in the Shuttle Training Aircraft doing dives to survey weather. All looks good for today's landing.

10:50 a.m. - Now only 25 minutes until touchdown, Discovery is flying about 48 miles above Earth's surface.

10:48 a.m. - Discovery is rolling left 80 degrees, the first in a pre-programmed series of four steep banks that help eliminate excess energy as the orbiter continues its descent toward Kennedy Space Center.

10:55 a.m. - Discovery is approaching the west coast of Central America, flying 21 times the speed of sound. The orbiter is continuing its series of banking maneuvers to dissipate its speed.

I saw some smoking debris come off at touchdown. Looked like from the right wing, but it could be the drag chute deployment system. 8-)
