I think the screenshots are being ignored or given short comments is because there are so many threads in there that it's impossible to want to look through all of them and make a long speech about it. Do you agree?
NO
Bring em' on :P
The screenshot motto............................
"If I have to explain...
You wouldn't understand....."
If it is not truthful and not helpful, don't say it.
If it is truthful and not helpful, don't say it.
If it is not truthful and helpful, don't say it.
If it IS truthful and IS helpful, wait for the right time.
Opinions are not truth and are not always helpful, unless ASKED FIRST to give an opinion and a critique, then they can be heard and respected
My belief is someone who posts a shot with lousy AA, ALREADY KNOWS the situation and why.
I have to say based on the fact that they have lurked here and KNOW what a good shot looks like, for them to post one that is very lacking takes ALOT OF GUTS. It also means they want to contribute bad enough they look past the image and join in the best they can.
ITS NOT MY JOB TO INSULT THEM AND TELL THEM WHAT THEY ALREADY KNOW.
Usually poor AA means their hardware can not do the job. It can mean they do not know how to set up their hardware. It is not for me to tell them.
They deserve RESPECT and DIGNITY and do not need ME to ASSUME they are not aware their shot is lacking
If they ASK why the image has jagged lines, THEN I have waited for the right time
Otherwise, I will comment but not about AA. I will choose something about the shot that will help them feel WELCOME and appreciated.

Wise words NickBut how will I get my post count up now
j/k
People take it way to personal...that's what I think... :P
If you think they are crap, fine. If you think they are prettier than the Mona Lisa, also fine. I read the comments and maybe write a short thank you for the comments and that's it. Life goes on, it's just a forum, there are more important things to do.
This is the problem with forums (and why we have smileys) as otherwise one sentence could be read as sincere, sarcastic or silly without changing the words.
I do keep an eye on the image forums (part of a mods job) but I rarely post anything unless I see something that makes me go WOWAs the wise man once said "If you can't say anything nice then keep your cake hole shut!"
Not only does this cause less offence but people think you're far wiser and you tend not to get misquoted
Well long story short she's still not happy but she will get over it and we will move along I'm now moving back to Chicago.Ramos
