Something has happened that disturbs.

I did ask in a fs 9 thread and goose egged for replies. I do miss his comments and wonder. I had taken the "management" as something in the "system" other than something in the forums though.

It's also one of the reasons why I'm thinking about leaving soon. Simviation isn't Simviation anymore. Not only because of Paul, there are more things going on here.

I've actually left here several times for six months or more at a time and people barely paid my absence any notice. Last time one individual bothered to IM me to find out why.

I've been in serious debate mode for some time about why I bother with coming to this forum. It seems I'm mostly ignored anyway.

I agree with you, when I first came here in 2002, it was a fun forum.

I too, miss Paul. I enjoyed his posts and got many good laughs from them, as I do yours Rom. And you are wrong, you too would be missed. And like Paul, the only reason I would not contact you, is I don't know how. I

have less than a handful of email addresses for anyone here, and most are because of sending or receiving files to help each other out. But I feel that I have more friends that I don't have emails for. I just don't feel

comfortable asking, "hey, can I have your email address in case I want to contact you outside the fourm at some point?" Change is usually inevitable, but not always for the best. And I hate adversity and conflict. I just

wish we could all get along. Maybe I'm puffing smoke, but I think one has to be here to try to change things for the better. I don't like some of the things going on in my country, but if I moved somewhere else, I could not

do anything about it. I still might not be able to staying, but at least I can try.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Rom, you are one of the major contributors to the humour forum so you will be missed if you would leave.

Larry, I know, leaving isn't the solution. But I honoustly wouldn't know how to get this forum back to the state it was in a couple of years ago. It used to be a friendly forum with a lot of laughs and some great posts and threads. Now? Everyone is tiptoeing around, scared to piss someone off. The fact that Paul got banned sucks and it sucks hard. He was one of the most funny persons I ever met online and believe me, I've met a lot of people this way. I don't know what he wrote exactly in that post but unless he threadened or insulted the people in charge here, I couldn't imagine a reason to kick him out.

This isn't the only place where things like this are happening.
Many of the Flight Sim Forums are locking threads whenever there's the slightest appearance that a flame war is going to occur; trying to be 'politically correct', I guess.

Well locking or deleting threads is milder than booting someone out that has been around for years. I've only been signed in for 2+ years but was reading threads long before. I notice when someone hasn't posted for a while, but like Larry said, there's usually no way to to contact. Fozz must have had way to much of that California red wine that day. Maybe it's being too nosey but I am still curious, as to the crime at hand.  :-?

I'll try to keep my distance from this as much as possible since I don't know the facts or reasoning behind it, but I simply can't believe this has happened. He's always extremely helpful and kind to me and everyone else as far as I know.

@ Rom: Whenever you leave there are multiple threads asking what happened to you.
