Well the old girl is cooking up a storm in the kitchen and I just put one of the birds to bed after visiting three (3) bugsmasher fields.
Flying time: 2.8hrs
Chewing the rag time: 3 hrs
Just grabbed a cold glass of my favourite beverage.
Now you have all heard me talk about the old girl and I doing preserves and canning in the Autumn or when the garden harvest is in. We also make our own wine, ice wine, something much like a brandy, beer amongst an assortment of other beverages which usually last us about two or three years.
We have several wines in the cellar which my grandfather and father made right here prior to both World Wars.
So yes Mother Nature has blessed us with a good many fruit trees and a wonderful garden every year.
I still have two jugs of pure corn alcohol right from the bottom of the neighbours silo I have not used yet. It will run any engine made. ;D
Now what is my favourite non alcoholic drink?
Pure Buttermilk.
Residue from making butter from sour raw milk; or pasteurized milk curdled by adding a culture.
Nothing comes close to it on a hot or cold day, not even the old girls different teas.
Recipe:
-1 large cold glass of buttermilk
-shake of salt and pepper
-good shake of Worcester sauce (A savoury sauce of vinegar and soy sauce and spices) and a good shake
- 1 raw egg
-stir well
I like putting the raw egg in if I am having this for breakfast with cereal, if I am having eggs, bacon and ham I leave the egg out.
I will tell you folks that buttermilk drink will do three things for you:
1-keep you regular
2-make you take back things you never even stole
3-puts lead in your pencil

There you go so who else has a favourite non alcoholic drink?
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
