Happy Halloween (The evening before All Saints' Day; often devoted to pranks played by young people) or Allhallows Eve.
We don't get any children down our road now, most are young adults. We miss going out with our children.
The old girl takes about two dozen home made candy apples and several pounds of home made dark fudge all for the adults who have not grown up yet at the Royal Canadian Legion. We also donate a box of 48 bags of potatoe chips to the Legion as well.
The Royal Canadian Legion has a scary room set up for the children and last year there were nearly three hundred children during a three hour period there. They also run a haunted house along with Lions Club Members each year and that is at the other end of the village.
The old girl and I dress up and visit our neighbours for a wobbly pop or two, of course she is an actual witch. She only uses the Cessna to fool folks, she gets around quite well on her broom. ;D LMAO
I noticed all the "Moderators" are dressed as scary critters today. I was almost tempted not to enter any of the forums today for fear of being hexed.
Thank goodness it will soon be midnight and I have enough medicine left in my bottle to ward off coughs, colds, sore holes, pimples on the ---- and scary moderators. :o ;D
Happy Halloween all...and to all a Fright Night. :-X
