what a game

from perhaps two of, if not the best teams in the world.
Man utd & chelsea have perhaps played in one of those games that'll be talked about 50 years from now.

I was indifferent to the result but my friend (supports Man U) watched it with me and could hardly watch.
It was a good game but Man Utd should have wrapped it up in the 1st half.. Tevez missed two sitters  :o

I enjoyed it from start to finish  8-)

I am simmilar to you in that I'm not a big fan of either. But i've always gone towards being a UTD fan since we moved back to the country. So to see them beat chelsea is always good. Although not as sweet as when Jose was in charge ;D ::)

Great game indeed!

The deserved winner was indeed Man U!!

120minutes of continual petulance from a bunch of overpayed primadonnas.

Had to feel for JT though. No one could have predicted the awful pitch could have cost the game in that fashion (assuming JT had hit the target, which I'm sure he would have done, as Van Der Sar went the wrong way).

I was thinking soccer, until someone mentioned "pitch"  and  "hit", now I'm thinking Cricket ?

I'm so confused  :-/

I wanted to see that game so badly, but they don't broadcast it in the states unless you have some expensive soccer channel. :( I whent to BBC.com, and watched live text. I kept hitting the refresh button every 5 seconds. Hooray, Manchester United won!
(for the question above, soccer is played on a pitch, and you hit the ball with your foot. Besides that, Manchester Utd. and Chelsea are two of the biggest names in soccer)

.....mmm.....mildly interesting game but did they really have to go to Russia to play a football match between two English teams......... ::) The new Wembley stadium has just cost an arm and a leg...couldn't they use that?

Sorry but I can't drum up too much enthusiasm for football(soccer) especially the variety played between teams of overpaid primadonnas....never been my sport...tiddlywinks ..YES..but football leaves me cold.....commoner :P
