I HATE SOFAS! :(

Quite a while since my last post :D...............

but anyway i just want to know why sofa companies presume we all need a brand new sofa for christmas and then another one for new year? the other day i counted 6 sofa adverts on tv (sad i know)
its like some sort of law "YOU WILL BUY A HALF-PRICE SOFA FOR CHRISTMAS". ...................
and its SO ANNOYING.

i know im not getting a sofa for christmas (well actualy im getting a new 20" HP Flatscreen monitor ;))

does anyone else now what there getting?

TV adverts...and Sofas...

I know the feeling exactly...

..especially when they offer them at half-price....

...and still make a profit...

...and I am wondering why they were double the price in the first place... :o...!

...I sometimes need a new Saucepan...

But I don't see zillions of adverts for Saucepans on the 'Tele... ::)...!

Has anyone mentioned "Carpet Adverts" yet?... >:(...!

I can remember the shock of seeing Xmas ads in November! I'm THAT old ::)
It is when they start selling Santas in June that it'll be time to find a nice comfortable room with rubber wallpaper for planet Earth ;)

The old greenhill finance adverts were simply terrible.

There were some 'employees' talking to camera in an obviously-scripted and obviously-being-read-off-a-board monotonic drone. And that was it.

Disturbingly boring. :o

Finally someone who makes sense. I saw one of those big inflatable snow globes in the grocery stores as early as September.
