I don't know, to wear a shirt that has a wired breadboard on it to the airport really doesn't seem like the brightest idea to me. I agree that anyone who knows a bit about electronics would see it and know that it wasn't really anything but a goofy little flashing light, but to someone who doesn't know what it is, it looks almost exactly like a bomb that you would see in a movie or television show, which is the only time 99.9% of the population would ever see anything that looks remotely like a bomb. Think of this, what would the response have been if she was carrying a bit of fertilizer in a paper bag and a water bottle full of diesel fuel? That would look just like someone with a bag lunch and a bottle of water, so I can't really blame the authorities for being a bit edgy about things like this.
But that's just getting paranoid, so I think I'm just going to risk it, and next time I see someone at the airport with a paper bag and a bottle of water, I'll let them eat their lunch.
