I'd say somewhere on the Mediterranean.  The track looks like some car manufacturers test track.

That actually looks like my neck of the woods, though it's impossible to tell.  I don't see anything in the photo that gives away location.  A large parking area for a public beach, a loop road, a lighthouse.  It looks like about a thousand different places along the RI,Massachusetts,Maine shoreline.  Although even there I can't be sure as the water is a little too clear to be from the Northeast US.

The only place that I have ever been that looks like that is the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I'll be extremely surprised if that is the answer.

sort of looks like portland bill here in the uk, however the waters edge is to smooth where as portland is very rocky.

There is no theme. Anything can be posted(as long as it's from Google Earth and as long as it has something unique so that it can be found.) It's not LAX. Try again.
