Looks like Man Utd didn't learn their lesson last time they put an understrength team out against lower division opponents...

Was an incredible game. Even moreso as Burton were the better looking team for most of the game. Now they get a huge payday going to Old Trafford. They wont win there though. The pitch is bigger, they were tired after todays so what that'll do to them will be interesting.

Typical arrogence really. I dont think Rooney or Ronaldo playing the whole game would have helped though. It was mainly the burton players fitness that started causing trouble at the end. Can you imagine though the money this replay will bing the club? They are going to be laughing all the way to the bank win or loose.

To be fair, if the keeper hasnt been in an fa cup game then I see no harm in it. If he can play that position why not let him have that honor. Back-up keepers rarely get to play these days.

I'm rather cynical about this sort of match and had already predicted a draw. (My wife is a ManU fan so the match was a must see.) Burton need the money so what better way of getting it than by having a replay at Old Trafford. Fergie will field his first team ...... less chance of injury on a good pitch... and Burton will go out of the cup heroic loosers having made enough to pay for the team wages for several years.

To be fair, it was to give someone who is unlikely to play in the cup (c'mon, Bolton won't be in it too long - and chances are Ian Walker won't get injured) a chance, and it was for only a minute or so at the end. I see that as no different to bringing on any other player at the end of a match for a couple of minutes (and you never know, he may be quite a good centre forward, but a better keeper )

Oh please, we all know that Man U would have demolished them if Sir Alex had played the first team, which he rightly didn't because then the rookies and younger players could have a chance to play... it's not arrogance, Craig...

And anyway, first team playing = utter devastation for bloody Burton bloody Albion.  ;D
