SABRE Engine (new dawn for space travel)

I visit [url=technabob.com]Technabob[/url] every day for the cool gadgets and such.  I came across this article today.  It's a breakthrough cooling method for jet engine design, and apparently our ticket to single-stage earth-to-space travel.   Watch the video and you'll get a good idea of what it is.  You could also check out the Wikipedia article about it.

Blackbird's been retired.  And I'm not sure there's an aircraft out there that could fly that envelope.  They may just build the entire aircraft to suit the needs of the engines.  It would be a monumental feat, but I'm not sure there's another option.
