Summer Solstace...

Postby Fozzer » Thu Jun 21, 2012 4:04 am

21st. of June.

Always a sad time of the year for me.
After six Months of observing the days (daylight!) getting gradually longer together with its associated warmth, from today the days (daylight!) will gradually be getting shorter, heralding that Winter is on its way.. :'(..., together with its bitter cold and discomfort, (for me).

Late Summer and Autumn (Fall) is an attractive time of the year for Flora, but the shortening days always spoil the illusion for me!

Paul... 8-)...!

Note: Days are always 24 hours long. Its the amount of daylight that gets less!.. ;D... ;D...!!

Here in Michigan we have only 2 seasons: Winter and road construction  ;D
So shorter days does not mean a whole lot to me  ;)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
