Chuck Norris Bridge, Bratislava (?)

Postby krigl » Fri Feb 24, 2012 5:23 am

Chuck Norris jokes are old news but they've only recently arrived in ex-Czechoslovakia via an advertising campaign by T-Mobile or somesuch...

This article caught my eye just now: http://web.volny.cz/noviny/ze-sveta/cla ... DC/200132/

It's in Czech but basically says that the naming of this new bridge in Slovakia was thrown open to public vote on Facebook by the local government. They suggested the Marie Therese Bridge, Freedom Bridge and Iron Curtain Bridge, but the public could also make suggestions.

Apparently Chuck Norris Bridge has 67% of the vote

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
