Good news for a change...

The news that scientists now have a better understanding of the aids virus, making it possible to improve medical response to the disease is good news.

The fact that the breakthrough was [glow=yellow,2,300]accomplished by gamers[/glow] in three weeks, while the science community has been stymied for some time, is awesome.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

That is pretty awesome. Sometimes a different approach can provide solutions. Now let's throw the world wide economy at them and see if they can model a scenario prediction program like Meteorologists use for weather.
