Doug, you want the Carenado C185F Bush package, as it has amphibian, floats, wheel skis, and tundra versions. I'm not sure if there is more than one Beaver package, but the

Aerosoft DHC-2 Beaver X has all four versions, amphibian, floats, wheel skis, and tundra. It also has a couple of liveries with standard tires, the float comes in both 5 and 8 passenger,

and there is a cropduster and firefighter.

As to scenery, for the US and Canada, GEX is very good, and they have it for Europe too. And for the Pacific Northwest, you can't beat Orbx FTX PNW, PFJ, and NRM, as well as FSAddon's Tongass Fjords.

They create a very large area in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, and Western Canada, that IMHO is some of the best there is.

Hope you find everything you want. I look forward to seeing some screen shots, if you can find the time to stop flying long enough to post. ::)

There must be a Hogtown in every state.  Around here it means Gainesville.

I don't shop much in Toronto, (The self proclaimed center of the universe), but that  Aviation World looks promising. I've had a hard time finding FSX software in any stores around my town. Let us know if they have a good selection on the shelf, if so I might go check them out.

Good afternoon all... :)

Well before I post my rant.... :P

I see there are changes since I was away...looks good... ;)

Well folks I had a very disappointing time in Toronto.
Wednesday, Thursday and part of Friday I went to five of the largest Future Shops I could find to purchase the Payware I wanted for FSX.
No luck at Future Shop and it does not look like they are going to carry FSX add-ons in the near future.

I went to three Best Buy Stores...again nothing for FSX.

I visited several game stores in two very large malls...again nothing.

I went to Toronto Buttonville Airport and thought I could get something at the Prop Shop there.

Doug, I'm sorry you were unable to find what you were looking for. But in a way, it may be a blessing in disguise. Once you make a purchase or two online, you may find it to your liking.

And something else to consider, is PayPal. Many online vendors use it and that way, you only give your credit card info to PayPal, once. From then on, when you make a purchase at a

vendor that uses PayPal, you just choose that payment option. It only takes a minute or so for the transaction to be completed.

I am envious of your time in simulator. You do know you could have rented a truck from the Canadian equivalent to U-Haul don't you? ::)

Looking forward to seeing your post of the Air & Space Museum, as well as shots of your new payware.

Cheers,
Larry :)

Hi Doug,

As an avid PC builder, gamer and simmer I feel your frustration about the lack of in-store software available these days.

Hope you get the software your looking for soon. Pay Pal or prepaid credit card is the right path for online purchases.

I'm with L.T. When I come back I want to come back as the Flying Trucker  ;)
