They're attaching little streamers and cardboard wings to dead mice and throwing them out of aircraft.

On a serious note: I'm not an expert, but I thought that snakes only ate live prey. :-?
Heat the little felows up a bit -- snakes can't see exceptionally well and rely on heat detection.8-)
