"00" cuts right thru the menu

It worked today.  Trying to get thru a phone company menu, what a mess!  How 'bout a real person?  Somewhere in the deep, dark, distant past I heard that if you hit "00"  (zero zero), you can get thru to a person.  I've done this before with success, but not sure it works all the time.  Worth a try.

I always try hitting 0.. and have failed a few times.

I was calling addmissions to my college one day and tried that.. ended up having to listen to the 3 minute long recorded speech twice that call  :-/  Finally figured out I had to hit 5 then 4 then wait 20 min
