Very interesting. Some newer high end cameras put a GPS geo tag in photos unless you turn the feature off. Read on if you are interested.

I've always removed the tags from my photos before posting them online. This can be done with most graphics editing software including IrfanView. It also helps reduce the file size.

With the amount of live feed cameras popping up around the globe, I'm not too worried about whatever info they'll get from this.

Privacy in today's world, is an illusion.  ;)

Most modern smart phones have had this for a while now. i've never used it on mine, never seen a need really.
