Goodly afternoon all...

When I am alone and out bashing through the puffy wuffies our Cessna's turn into a SE5A or a Spitfire....

I have a huge selection of Military Bands, Pipe and Brass. They are from all different countries and put together by one of our daughters.
I put in a CD and automatically turn into a World War One or World War Two Ace....

Now when the old girl and I go on a trip one of us will play the guitar or another musical instrument. We do this during long driving, boating or flying trips. It is great fun and passes the time.
Can't seem to fit a piano into the Cessna 185 or 172 all in one piece yet. ::)
The person who said:
"Music soothes the beast"...I wonder if he ever tried singing to a Great White Shark...

or
"Music is the International Language"...okay the terrorists can listen to the whistle of my bullets...

or
"That's music to my ears"...I bet that fella never sat in a Douglas DC3 or Consolidated Canso for hours on end...

When the children were young we used to build a campfire down by the river and at night play our instruments. Everyone had to sing a ditty but they had to make up new words.
As the lads got older the words got bolder...

I think they got that from the old girl...

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
