Larry (Patchz) lives in the Hattiesburg area, a bit southeast of Jackson, so he'll probably have a comment.

Larry was one of the first of our Sim V members I thought of, when this "blew up"...!

...any more affected by it?....It sounds worse than usual in Tornado Alley!

From what I've read and heard, over here, the damage was primarily in Yazoo County - northwest of Jackson but it sounds like there's more to come.

Sorry guys, I've been gone all day. It never got bad here, just a little wind and rain. But as you are already aware, very bad in Yazoo and Choctaw counties. I'm about 135 miles ESE of there. But we have had more than our share in this area. We almost always have bad ones in the spring. I think the number of Mississippi deaths due to tornado is because of so many mobile homes. I would just about prefer a cave.

...good to know your are OK Larry. I was getting worried by your absence!

We get many documentary programs on our British Televisions regarding Tornado Alley in the Mid West, and it always surprises that Folks have got the grit to want to live there under such regular, dangerous, weather conditions!

Mobile homes and low cost buildings are devastated by the storms!

Tornado Alley

The bad one

Paul...getting blown off-course!... :o...!
