I missed 120mins of class today because of a bomb threat at my school.  They even brought in dogs fro the buffalo airport to sniff out everything!  Thank god it was a hoax.  :)

The day in the life of a high school student.

My school gets interesting every once in a while. We have had hazmat come, the whole fire brigade, metro and district police, and Mercy Air to facilitate the student populace's needs. ::)

But I have to hand it to you on this one we have never had a bomb threat.

I used to work in a tall building in Liverpool ... it was a regular occurrence after 9/11 - everyone was so jittery.

Before that it was the IRA.  I was a Fire Marshall and we used to have practise scenarios and evacuations on a regular basis.  Thank goodness we never had to go through a real one.

My mom once worked at an acadamy where an angry student phoned in a bomb threat and my mom was the lucky person who answered the call

Speaking of which, someone discarded some real but empty (deactivated) hand grenades the other day in the county to the north of me, they called out the bomb squad for this.  Some people. . .
