Memorial Day Salute

Postby Groundbound1 » Mon May 26, 2008 10:12 am

A slight departure from the normal Memorial Day fly-by salute occured today. Instead of the usual F-16s from the nearby Selfridge ANG base flying in the "missing man" formation, residents of my neighbor hood were treated to a fly by, by a B-25 and C-47 at a pretty low altitude. Man what a sound! I can't even imagine what a whole squadron of them would sound like.

Anyway, to any and all, who have served in the armed forces, for this country, or any other.
Thank You!
