Geez, tornadoes just touched down

About 10 miles from my house. Good thing it already pasted us, the news is talking about damages already, not good.

Tornado valley seemed to have lengthened this year. I can truely see the effect of global warming. :o

I hope you are all safe there.

It's actually been a pretty quiet year around here so far.  We're already through what's supposed to be the worst time of the year, and we've only had one or two severe storms and no tornado threats, only one watch I think.  There's still a while to go though.

Thats all heading my way...but not supposed to be severe by then.  Just windy, little thunder, and cringes more rain [smiley=door.gif]

Defiantly an odd year...Since January our town has seen 3 floods that broke 100+ year old records.  We had a close call with a rare early January tornado :o  Then a day later there was a foot of snow on the ground and -20

The problem isn't so much with a tornado's toachdown but, rather, the lift off...

Was that the one I saw footage of, with the two cars in a parking lot being smacked together as though in the hands of a big kid playing patty-cake? Scary stuff indeed.

Mobius is right too, we haven't had much more than rain so far this season where I live, which is very unusual.

We had a small tornado touch down about 20 miles out. Another in Humboldt in march I believe and the worst yet an F4 that touched down directly in the center of my town...about 2 blocks away from me. From the recent storm, we had really strong winds and we lost a tree...beat the * out of my mom's garden... :(
The F4 that hit my town would have been the third F3 and up tornado that directly hit the town since 2001 I believe...

Global warming HAHA! It was 55(F) degrees yesterday and the average is 85F...
Global Warming = Bologna

PS Tornado. Not Tornadoe.  ;D

...an F4 ...touched down directly in the center of my town...about 2 blocks away from me.
I expect one of these would cause quite a stir, especially if they accidently engaged the weapons system...
