CNN-Youtube Debates

Postby Katahu » Sun Jan 20, 2008 1:34 pm

Ever since the Democratic and Republican debates were broadcasted live last year, there has been much criticism in regards to how CNN handled the questions and candidates during the debate. A lot of people believe that both of the debates were a waste of time, money, and oxygen. And the fact that petty questions such as "which baseball team do you like" and "are you a libral" were asked during the debate showed that CNN didn't give a rat's buttocks on which video question they posted. And for those of you who haven't noticed, the candidates were arranged [from the center outward and from greatest to least] by how much money they paid CNN.

Here is a video response to the Democratic debate posted by a sock puppet who seems to have beef with CNN. The video responses for the Republican debate were no different.

Personally, I also think that CNN has been unfair in terms of how they handled the questions and the candidates. This is why I don't watch the news for information. And on top of that, here is Gravel [a presidential hopeful] and his personal video response about the situation with CNN and how CNN "snookered" Youtube.

***NOTE***

This thread is not intended to start a flame war in regards to either the Democrats and the Republicans. This is just to prove a point as to why CNN is at the bottom of my list in terms of which channels I watch the most [the Sci Fi channel is at the top of my list].
