I had one of those very same Evil Knievel bikes and winders  8-)

Never had the ring of fire, but it was still lots of fun trying to make anything it could jump over, ride on, smash into etc etc etc.

A real character of his time, hang on tight EK  ;)

I always thought he was just too ornery to die... a brilliant showman, and a damn good rider. My world is diminished... :'(
