Hi all;

Just seeing if anyone on here is from ROMANIA?

I am in England but spend lot of time flying to and from Bucharest,cos partner is originally from Romania.

Saw a add-on for scenery of Bucharest,and was from a Romanian person,so just wondering if they still come on here,or indeed any other people from there,might be good to chat occasionally.

Well, four years in/out of these forums; now somewhere north of me in Canada, formerly in Italy with excursions to see relatives in India, if I remember correctly.

True...I travel alot and live in different countries because my father works with the UN and we are constantly moving from place to place...

In Ottawa at the moment...spent 3 years in Italy and going to India again this December

Well Rob I can tell you didn't get an O-Level/GCSE in Geography
Roger is based in Brno and further away from Romania than me!

Cheers, Eastern Europe was never one of my strong points..as you can see.  :P

Anyway, the eastern part of Czechoslovakia, as it was, is quite close to Romania..

A Romanian? We don't see your people much around here at the forum, though your people visit my country ( Belgium) more and more as truckdrivers. I once spent an hour with one of them, while he waited for a new order from his boss. Great chap, didn't speak a lot of German or English, but we had lots of laughs anyway. In the end I was invited to visit his country! Though he warned me that the ladies look better in Belgium...  ;D
