2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Perhaps he had to do it that way because of the location of his head...
I am reminded, however, of the person I knew who'd wound up in the emergency ward because he'd shoved a hanging air freshener in the respective location because he wanted his gas emissions to have a more pleasant odor.
