Certain users of these forums are reminded that personal attacks on other members will not be tolerated.
Over the last couple of weeks there have been several instances of certain individuals making personal/insulting comments about other members and /or passing judgment on the content or validity of other members postings.
This is a reminder to those members of the terms of use that you agreed to when you joined the forums.
In instances of personal insults or derisive remarks about the number or content of other peoples posts may well result in the offender being asked to leave or be banned.

1. Please post messages in the appropriate forum. By targetting your post to the right viewers you will be more assured of getting a quick & respected answer.
[glow=yellow,2,300]2. Please refrain from using offensive language or a 'put down' attitude. Simviation is a friendly & 'good attitude' site! We have a reputation for positivity & helpfullness. If this does not appeal to you - take a hike now.
3. Please try to avoid negative criticism. This hobby is generously provided for by creative & talented people who generously donate their work for our enjoyment. Negative criticism makes designers quit. Positive feedback & encouragement drives them on to create more & improve!

4. Please do not post spam or the same message in multiple forums.
5. When requesting aircraft or other add-ons please search this site 1st.
[glow=yellow,2,300]6. Moderators have the complete authority to move, ban members, edit or remove posts they consider not appropriate for our forums. Bear this in mind.
7. Simviation forums must remain a friendly place to be. In order to maintain this positive atmosphere we may remove individuals who are aggressive to our other members.

8. Please remember - there is no need to 'grab attention'. An appropriate subject line in the right forum will give you the best chance of getting the best response to your post.
9. Simviation does NOT support copyright theft/piracy in any way. If you have illegal copies of an FS product - take a hike now & don't register. Requesting illegal files will result in a ban.
10. When uploading images please take note of our image size limits..
11. Please use proper English (though other languages are also permitted). I.E. Please avoid language like 'r' for 'are, 'u' for 'you', etc.. & please make an effort to punctuate. If you don't know what that means - find out!
12. All Images - Screenshots, Avatars & Signature images - must be uploaded to the Simviation server (See 'Upload Images' link at the top of the forums). Please do not link to images elsewhere.
& Please don't be put off by all these 'Rules'... they are here just to try to keep out those people that bring forums down with insults & rude behaviour. Once a member - you will find us a friendly & helpful little crowd.
