don't see why Iran are doing anything wrong. its the brits who where in Iranian waters, and inspecting people with no authority...

Well...On my home page there are two headline links. The first is from the International Herald Tribune and the second is from CNN.
I also have one about Britain freezing business with Iran here.

yeah... it was comical... the Brits requested GPS data from Iran which supported Iran's claims that the Brits were in Iran's waters, so Iran gives the coordinates

the coordinates were in Iraqi Waters!!!!!  ;D  ;D  ;D

so the Brits are like "Yeah... like we said they were in Iraqi Waters."

Iran replies "Oh wait.... ummm we meant these coordinates"

(gives new set of coordinates deep into Iranian waters)  ::)  ::)  ::)

The Brits have ruled the friggin waves since the dawn of sail, i would think that even the most block headed ensign in the queen's navy would know his position!

but is it true they are talking about downsizing the navy? what the heck? the numbers i heard the cut backs down to placed the Brit navy down smaller than the U.S. Coast Guard for crying out loud!

and about Iran not doing anything wrong... kidnap and ransom have been their method of operation since the late 70s early 80s at least!

iran are just trying to aggrivate the situation.
from everything thats been said on the news, and the fact their is scientific fact that suggests we were indeed in iraqi waters. but iran are not claiming that all previous territories on the sea and nonscence, in that case we should claim that our borders stretch to north iraq and whatever country liest west of iran... teach those mofo's

I can see this getting locked or going to the admin board fairly soon however whist it is still open:

I think you have a major misunderstanding of the attitude of the Iranians. If they think that taking troops British, US or who ever every week andparading them on TV will bolster the anti West feeling amongst the Iranian people then they will carry on until the world ends. Don't think that by airing Western values and morels it will make the slightest difference to this because it will not. If any thing it will make them harder to negotiate with.

GPS data show that the boats where in Iraqi waters, but as Iran and Iraq lay claim to this water the British craft could be as much in Iraqi waters as Iranian, so it would depend on your view of things Str1ker. However I would just like to point out that this dispute is older than you and any action that has been taken in Iraq in the last years. It goes back to the 1970's

Thanks to President Blair we have just about enough of a navy to be able to mount an invasion of the duck island in the local boating lake.

Two things come to mind. Firstly Send in the SBS, to do what, knock on every door in Iran and ask if they know where the held Brits are. Nobody has a clue where they are.....mmmm accidental or Iran being a little cunning as usual. And secondly, can anyone explain to me what donut is talking about.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
