well thats an interesting if unsurprising start to the playoffs,
I really cant believe i am saying this but I'd like to see Seattle make the superbowl and win. After that fiasco of being screwed by just about everything possible last year, they deserve a second chance. Too bad it'll be the same if the CHargers get to the big game as the refs have been in their pockets all year. :-X

As a side note, i've just watched the funeral of D-will, one of the most touching things i've ever seen, I thought one of the nicest things they did was the DB/ST breakdown after John Lynch's speech where they brought in Mrs Williams to conclude it with one of D-wills sayings. Very special moment. Mike shannahans memorial was really quite funny with his stories of Darrents confindence and character, you could tell how upset Mike was just by the way he was. No tears just hiding it with the humor.

You know what I just realized? However unlikely, what if Garcia wins the superbowl?  Boy would that be a strange situation for McNabb.

Well, it wouldn't be completely unpresidented.  The NY Giants had to use thier backup QB in Super Bowl XXV.  The Giants starter (and probably future Hall of Famer) Phil Simms broke his foot late in the regular season.  Backup QB Jeff Hostetler started the final 2 games of the season and led the Giants through the playoffs to Super Bowl XXV.  In the Super Bowl, he completed 20 of 32 passes for 222 yards and a TD while leading the Giants to a 20-19 win over the Buffalo Bills (the first of 4 consecutive losses for the Bills).

So, it could happen.  Plus, I think Jeff Garcia is a better QB than Hostetler was (although he had a few good seasons in the 1990s as the Raiders starter).

It looks like Philly and New England are on their way again. Wouldn't it be funny if the same two teams made it to the superbowl again?  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

All I have to say is....

GO HAWKS!!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Have to say that even as a Seahawks fan we got lucky against Dallas...one point and because they screwed up.  ;D  But I think our season is about to end when we face Chicago.  :-/

I would love to see my boys make the Big Game again....since those dirty Steelers bribed the officals and stole the last SuperBowl.  ;D

hey splat, i'd bet on the low scoring Bear's offense showing up. Dont know why, so as long as the seahawks can get something going through the air, leave the clock management upto Alexander they could come away with a win.
