Unfortunately Mr MSC will often be remembered for incidents such as these. For someone so very calm and talanted, he has had too many moments of mad desperation when things have gone wrong.
Australia '94 could have been put down to a moment of immature madness at realising his error may have just lost the world championship as he turned in on Damon Hill. Unfortunately the second time, with Villleneuve in Jerez in '97 exposed his real character, and I have had no respect for the man since, and I think it is a shame that looking back in the record books in years to come, many will have to look on his achievements with a pinch of salt.
Sad that he had to resort to tactics like this. You also wonder how much the team on the other end of the radio had to do with it too...
