..mmmm...do I detect a slight feeling of doubt there Fozz.....it sure is a great pic...real or not...........

.....here's one I SAY I took from my back window.........but is it false or not?..........with today's methods of "photography" and the wonders of Photoshop coupled with somebody skilled at using such software ( like wot I am..cough cough) it would certainly be possible  to fake it................I wonder..............commoner ??? ;)

If I can make something like that, I might do the following:

1. Take a normal daytime photo of the sky with buildings on the bottom of the shot.

2. Erase the sky to have a transparent background with the buildings still visible.

3. Layer the edited photo over another layer that consists of indigo [it's a color blend between blue and grey].

4. Slap a third layer of custom-made lightning between the two layers so that the lightning can be behind the buildings.

5. Darken the front-layer buildings and apply a semi-fade effect on the middle layer [the one with the lightning].

Viola!

Three problems though:

1. I suck at making custom-made lighting in PSP9.

2. The lighting* in the the forground might not be realistic.

3. I think I have too much time in my hands. ::)

If you're caught on a golf course during a storm and are afraid of lightning, hold up a 1-iron.  Not even God can hit a 1-iron.  ~ Lee Trevino
