It is one of only three series in TV history to bow out at the top

Sad to hear, I always liked him. :(

What does that mean?

I think that they were at the top of the ratings probably and they ended the show then, instead of prolonging it.

I think that they were at the top of the ratings probably and they ended the show then, instead of prolonging it.

That as well as Gilligans Island one of the longest airing TV series which can still be seen on TV at just about any time of day on some channel everyday.

Will be sadly missed, great comic and genuine human being.
