Anyone would think the crazy health and safety officers would need to go and check a blazing house out first for occupants incase the fireman got hurt. ::) Fireman are fit, strong and capable people. What in the world do these people think could go wrong? :-X

According to the report from Eno's link it was the firefighters own union rep that asked for the training. This is basically an instruction manual.

I can't remember if it was Benny Hill or which British comedian (at least I think he was British) did a comedy skit about a powered recliner many years ago. This recliner went wacko when he spilled his beer and was tossing him about like one of those mechanical bulls. It ended up tossing him clear across the living room. It was absolutely hilarious to watch..... ;D

you need certificates for everythin these days....someone taught me how to lift a box recently at work and sign that i done it....wouldnt mind but i dont need to lift anything in my job .....organisations protecting themselves from being contacted by claims direct etc ....everyone sues everyone....another great american import
