I am glad they got the win. I would expect them to win a few more before the end and with Green Bay being so poor this year, I wouldn't bet on that 1 pick yet. Bu whatever thy get, it needs to be an Offensive lineman.

I don't know if there are any offensive linemen coming out of college this year that would warrent a pick that high (but I could be wrong).  I think they would be better off trading their high pick (it should be in the top 3 I would think) and get someone and a later 1st round pick with it.  That or draft Reggie Bush.

There ya go Corsair, they actually realised it. They switched back to playing Broncos ball, not Marty ball. When they do that as we have just seen few teams will be able to go up against them. Just wish they wouldn't let teams back in it. Good game Beef. :)

whew!

I was gettin' worried there... I'm glad they won, but we really need to work on our 2nd half defense. As you said Craig "its unacceptable"

Pulling champ as strange as it may sound, was the best thing they did. He's hurt, its a wet slippy ground and he's one on one with TO, even he wouldn't stand a chance. Foxworth has been doing a great job and while his match-up wouldn't stop TO it slowed him down and got crucial incomplete passes. Bye week for champ to heal and a road game in Oakland. 7-2 here we come.

Good game Beef. :)

I will now publicly express my disdain, free of the PMs.

I'm officially off the bandwagon now, the Eagles are not the team they were last year.  I now have all my hope hinged on Penn State-they better beat Wisconsin next week (gonna be at the game in a skybox! :D) and go to a BCS bowl, cos the Eagles don't have any bowls in their near future...

Don't be fooled into thinking that I'm giving up on my team after one big loss, because that is blasphemy.  Last year, the Eales only lost a single legitimate game-we were playing second and third stringers for the last two losses of the season.  The schedule really isn't much harder this year, and we've already lost three by week 8, with poor performances and play calling. Not acceptable.

You know, with the current power struggles in both the Pac-10 and the Big Ten, its hard to say who is going to end up where (since there are 3 or 4 teams competing for the top spot in each confrence).
