Looking for info concerning recent Taiwan typhoons

I hate to get worried but now I am.  I can barely find any info concerning a couple of typhoons that struck Taiwan.  One which from what I found turned deadly around July 31st...After looking at the last email I recieved from my old girlfriend I relized it was from July 29th...I and a few others from school have not heard from her since  Internet is proving to be somewhat useless but the typhoon a few days ago looked as though it went directly over her city.  

I tried to contact her by phone but all I get is ringing.  I just want to know anything concerning damage, locations, especialy anything coming from Chung-Li city

Ok feeling a bit better now...Huge relief really.  As I was reading from that website I got to thinking...Maybe since its 11:30 AM over there I might give one last shot.  Talking to her now....Things seem to be ok  Couldnt be happier to hear from her in my life

Nope...you were right...It was from yesturday...or 2 days ago...BLAH 12.5 hours ahead of me...cant keep my times right.
