I don't want to say everyone or anyone here is doing this but you must remmeber why you would enter the Air Force or anyhting like that.  Its not to be able to fly for cheap or free but to serve your country.  So I imagine if you go into any interview saying I am doing this job since I want to fly for free isn't going to cut it.

Those are words to remember since it seems alot of people want to join the Air Force or Air Force Academy (not sure in the difference between the two).

Ahoy.  I'd really like to fly for free as well, but I'm just not up to the task of joining the force.  I just don't have it in me.  Bombing people in CFS is one thing, but I don't think I could drop a payload on real people.  I had to rule out the USAF a couple years ago. :'(

You don't have to be the one pushing the 'drop' button. There's plenty of ground crew in the enlisted ranks with accompanying officers and all are usually flown to new duty stations rather than attack runs.

And you came here for your formal education? I hope you realized there's no graduation from this place -- various degrees but no final diploma. ;D ;D ;D
