Actually the biggest problem with Ericson is his attitude. While yes he has in previous years done good things for England, the guy just doesn't have the fire a coach needs in the dressing room. If your down 3-0 at the half, you need a coach whos gonna scream every player out until they are crying. Ericsson just quietly tells them dont worry boys it doesn't matter.

Sven-Goran Eriksson is the England team manager. I have very little interest in football but I don't think he gets involved in coaching. He presumably has a head coach to look after that sort of thing.

I no longer bother watching England as no matter how many different managers & players they've tried over the years the team always seems to play in the same way. I suspect the problem goes much deeper than the manager himself. This doesn't inspire confidence & I'm always surprised to hear they actually won a game.

Football's not really my cup of tea unless its the world cup or something big like that.
I did however see part of the England v Denmark match. I was mainly too busy in the pub watching the Ireland v Italy match. we lost 2-1.
At least i got to point and laugh every time i turned around, the England match was on the other screen  ;)
