i do agree it will likely be complicated. But if we try QB's pre-season week one and see how it goes and choose from there? If you dont want to, then i am more than happy to keep it as it was last year as that in itself is good fun.

maybe two different pools? player pool and team pool
Sincerely,

What about Longwell? Most accurate kicker in NFL history for a few years. Sure, he may not get that 52 yarder, but he just doesn't miss on the medium sized kicks. 8) 8)

Neither does Akers ;) ;D

Besides, Longwell's a Packer... that's my dad's team, I have no "official" loyalites ;)

*huddles in corner, waving Giants pennant*

Actually this sounds like a good idea. I think it'd get me into it this year.

In the end, we can give it a go pre-season week 1. This is the 3rd year this pool has run, its been fine as it was and i am more than happy to keep it as it is if this doesnt work out. Its supposed to be fun, not difficult:)

In 12 seasons, Jason Elam has only missed 2 extra points, only one of those misses was his fault. Vinateri will never be able to equal that and is 400 points behind Elam, Vanderjadt will need to go another 5 years without missing a field goal to tie that, and is 630 points beind Mr Elam. Again given the choice, not being a homer fan or anything i would take Elam over the both of them. Followed by Morton Anderson, he may not have the leg he once had but the guy just cant seem to miss within 40 yards:)

Is Morten still around, for some reason I was thinking he retired at the end of last season.

Did he get sick of the Vikings that quickly?:) It seems no-one likes playing there.

the biggest factor against Elam is now age. He has been around at least 5 years longer than both of the others. In vinateri and Vanderjadt you have two guys who will continue to be good kickers for many years to come.
