Ramos finally gets a job!!!!

that only tok me 2 years of sitting on the couch debating on doing a jobsearch. I went to a baseball game (adult local league (my uncle is the best pitcher on the league)) and i took my brand new Nikon D70 (tamron 180-300 lens, 512mb card) to the game to shoot pics. this guy comes up to me (he has a D100, so we started talking camera talk) and offers me a job at his compay shooting pictures of sporting event int he chicago area. what i like the most about the way he runs his business is this: of the money he collects after every event,
50% goes to the photographers
25% goes to business and equipment
25% goes to support little league games and other childrens activities.

I'm gonna love this job, my photo skills finally come in handy. so much for me and my mom's business.

WOOT!!! job, finally start paying for my own stuff. (saving up for flying lessons, after the new computer, lol!)

lol, i wish, i was just talking about gettin cubs tickets the other day.

about the photo thing, it's a side hobby, my focus is a music ed degree at New Mexico State Univ.

Sounds like a great job, Ramos! Congrats.

A few summers ago, when my mom was trying to keep me out of trouble (yeah, like she needs to keep a kid like me "out of trouble" ) I took a photography course at the local college.  Not only did I like it, I was good at it, so I've always been partial to photography.

Well, you and me have one thing in common-we both have a job we really like!
